Case studies
IT Solutions Architect
Client: Our client is a German IT firm that specializes in providing services to clients throughout Germany and other European countries, particularly in the energy sector. They advertised a position but were disappointed with the quality of candidates.
Requirement: The client sought a Senior IT Solutions Architect with a solid background in IT Solutions Architecture. The ideal candidate would be fluent in English and located in Prague.
Solution: SearchTeam reached out to several candidates from previous searches and also conducted an online search campaign. We screened over a dozen candidates and shortlisted six who best met the client's criteria The client conducted three rounds of interviews and ultimately selected one candidate with whom we had previously worked.
Result: The client was pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery of candidates and the significantly higher quality compared to those from the initial advertisement. They hired our candidate and, through ongoing communication in the first year, confirmed their satisfaction with this hire.
SW Engineering Manager
Client: Our client is a rapidly expanding marketing technology company based in the UK, offering its marketing platform and services to business clients worldwide.
Requirement: We were tasked with finding an experienced SW Engineering Manager for the London headquarters, who will lead a team of up to 20 remote software engineers.
Solution: Given that most of the remote engineering team is based in the Czech Republic, we collaborated with the CTO to establish the Software Engineering Manager role there, allowing for remote work. We compiled an extensive list of qualified SW Engineering Managers with relevant experience and fluent English skills.
Result: After presenting over 15 candidates, they chose a candidate with a strong background in SW Engineering, familiarity with a similar technical stack as our client has, experience in international startups, and a good cultural fit. Within the first year of the new Manager's employment, we received very positive feedback from the CTO, and this Manager continued to work at the company for many years.
Sales Engineers
Client: Our client is the European headquarters of a big US automation engineering company. who would like to expand in the Central Eastern region. The client tried to source candidates through its recruitment teams but they were not successful in securing talent.
Requirement: The company needed to hire 8 Technical Sales Engineers who would help them expand in the Central European region. The new candidates would be required to go through a several month long training in Germany.
Solution: Our team which is well experienced in sales roles started to work on this role. Even for us, it was quite challenging to find candidates who would meet all the requirements that were needed. But thanks to the very good knowledge of the market and great selling skills of our team we within a few months contacted over 700 candidates and delivered over 50 candidates for interviews for 8 roles in different regions.
Result: After several months of intensive work with one team of senior consultants and a senior researcher we have filled all 8 roles.
Audit & IFRS Specialists
Client: Our client is an international audit & tax consultancy providing its services in tens of European countries.
Requirement: The company needed to hire several experienced audit specialists and 1 IFRS senior specialist.
Solution: Our finance team knew that it is very difficult to hire audit specialists from one consultancy to another. They get very detailed information about the role from our client with some significant selling points that we knew would be very appealing to candidates working in competing audit companies. Then our team contacted by phone, email and Linkedin over 250 candidates for both audit and IFRS roles.
Result: Within 2 months our team successfully hired 5 audit candidates and later on continued to hire a senior IFRS specialist.
SW Developers and BI Engineers
Client: Our client is a London-based globally operating fintech company having part of its staff located in the UK and part outsourced in remote locations.
Requirement: The company needed to hire 6 Software Engineers and 2 Business Intelligence Engineers for remote outsourcing collaboration.
Solution: Our team developed a long list of suitable candidates for each role based on their seniority, technical stack and other parameters. For each role, we have contacted hundreds of candidates as we knew our client is very selective in terms of the quality of candidates and by this approach, we would be able to deliver the best quality.
Result: After 1 and 1/2 months we succeeded in placing all 8 roles. After 1 year our client is still cooperating with all the candidates we have delivered. Since then our client has hired several other remote outsourced contractors through our company for software engineering, data engineering and business intelligence roles.
Group Chief Finance Officer
Client: Our client is a large European petrochemical company.
Requirement: The company needed to hire a seasoned CFO who would be responsible for the financial management of several companies in the group.
Solution: Our executive search consultant met with the client and got detailed information about the ideal profile of the candidate and information which our company can provide to prospective candidates. We conducted a confidential search and revealed the name of the client only to shortlisted candidates (with their approval to provide their CVs to our client).
Result: After 4 weeks we provided a short list of 7 candidates to our client. The client invited all 7 candidates for interview. After several interview rounds, the client hired a candidate who successfully worked in the company for many years.
